How to Vote in Oklahoma

Register to Vote – You must be registered before you can cast a ballot. You can register online, by mail, or in person at your County Election Board or other voter registration locations. Your application must be received at least 25 days before an election.

Check Your Registration – After registering, confirm your registration and ensure your information is up to date before voting by visiting the OK Voter Portal at the Oklahoma State Election Board website.

Choose How You’ll Vote

  • Election Day: Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at your assigned polling place.

  • Early Voting: Vote in person at designated early voting locations before Election Day.

  • Absentee/Mail-In Ballot: Any registered voter can request an absentee ballot—no excuse needed. Follow instructions and return your ballot by the required deadline.

Find Your Polling Place & Sample Ballot – Use the OK Voter Portal to locate your polling place, view your sample ballot, or request your absentee ballot.

Bring Acceptable ID – When voting in person, you must show valid identification before receiving your ballot. More information about acceptable forms of ID can be found here.

Submit Your Ballot on Time – Make sure your ballot (whether in person or by mail) is submitted or received according to official deadlines so it counts.
